Facelift (Rhytidectomy)
In time, gravity, sun exposure, and the stresses of daily life take their toll on our faces: the nasolabial folds deepen, "marionette" creases appear beside the mouth, the jaw line slackens, and some of us who are genetically predisposed tend to develop those folds and fat deposits on the neck. A facelift (rhytidectomy) can counteract these problems by removing fat and tightening skin and muscles, giving your face a fresher, more youthful look.
Dr. Trott utilizes the more modern techniques of muscle tightening rather than just pulling on the skin, which will give you a natural rather than "done" appearance. Incisions are made in inconspicuous places such as behind the hairline and in natural folds of the face and ears, and scars fade to nearly invisible with time. After surgery, some patients appear 10-15 years younger!

Forehead Lift (Browlift)
Are you tired of people asking you "What's wrong?" or saying that you look tired when you feel fine? As we age, our brows tend to drop down. If your unplucked brow is at or below your browbone, you are probably a candidate for a browlift (forehead lift). Browlifts (Forehead Lift) can revitalize drooping or lined foreheads, helping you to look less angry, sad or tired.
In the past, browlifts (forehead lift) were done with big coronal (ear to ear) incisions that were very obvious when the hair was wet. Dr. Trott utilizes today's more advanced minimally invasive (endoscopic) methods, whereby the entire surgery is done through several small incisions hidden behind the hairline. In addition to restoring the aesthetic arch of the brow, the procedure alters the frown muscles above the eyes to smooth lines and give you a more youthful appearance. Browlifts (Forehead Lift) are often combined with another operation such as blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) and facelift (rhytidectomy) to give balance to the rejuvenation of the face.

Eyelid Lift (Blepharoplasty)
As we age, our upper eyelid skin gets crepey, and bags and loose skin become more prominent in the lower lids. Both upper and lower blepharoplasty (upper and lower eyelid surgery) will help to restore the youthful appearance that your eyes once had, make you appear more refreshed, and once again give you a place to put your makeup.
Upper blepharoplasty (upper eyelid surgery) involves removing the overhanging skin and sometimes fat. The incision is well hidden in the upper lid crease and becomes virtually invisible. If brow sagging is present as well, Dr. Trott usually combines this procedure with an endoscopic browlift (forehead lift) if the patient desires.
Lower blepharoplasty (lower eyelid surgery) to remove the bags and tighten the lower lid skin is done either through the inside of the lid or an incision at the lash line, and again, the resulting scar can almost never be detected.

Ear Surgery (Otoplasty)
Ear surgery (Otoplasty) for children or adults can set prominent ears back closer to the head and reduce the size of large ears. You may just want to reduce your large or stretched earlobes or close off the piercing "slits" and start over. While Dr. Trott performs some of these more minor procedures under local anesthesia in the office, most formal Otoplasties are performed in an outpatient surgery center.

Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery)
One of the most common plastic surgery procedures, rhinoplasty (nose surgery) is performed to reshape, reduce or augment a person’s nose, remove a hump, narrow nostril width, change the angle between the nose and the mouth, or to correct injury, birth defects, or other problems that affect breathing. Rhinoplasty (Nose Surgery) is usually an outpatient procedure performed under Intravenous sedation or general anesthesia.

Temporal Lift
If you feel that your eyebrows are fine and you have just a little of what we call “temporal hooding”, that is, drooping of your lateral eyebrows over your eyes so that you always appear sad, you are probably a candidate for a temporal lift. Under local or general anesthesia Dr. Trott can make a limited incision just behind the natural hairline in the area of the temple and elevate your lateral brow This very minor procedure will give you an impressive improvement with minimal downtime.

Note: In general, for any facial procedure aside from a limited upper blepharoplasty (upper eyelid surgery) or temporal lift, downtime, until you can comfortably go about your business, is approximately one week. Downtime till where you can resume your work and social activities without any of your friends knowing what you did is approximately two to three weeks.
